Bill Atkinson looking to offload PhotoCard on the right person

PhotoCard is an application that lets people turn their digital photos into a postcards they can send via postal mail from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Bill Atkinson created it and has run it for 10 years. It has custom stickers. One way to use custom stickers is to take someone's signature, place it on the photo as a sticker, and now you can send office 400 Xmas cards without having each person sign 400 cards each.

Each week, 400 PhotoCards are sent. Atkinson says he is tired of running the service. However, so many people depend on it, he does not want to shut it down.

More details of why he wants to keep the service running despite no profit: 1:02:00 of https://youtu.be/xN-bLcJWch8?t=3722

A quiet thread, for now.Start the conversation on HN ↗
