A different article about the same subject is not automatically a dupe. You are overdoing it quite a bit.
HN's standard is that an article should provide significant new information to not count as a duplicate:

Since the Ars link only references the same talk, and provides only generally-available biographical background on Hopper herself, I'd say the dupe flag is warranted.
