An example of functional slop code

To be clear I do not endorse this practice.

I thought it was interesting that it was immediately obvious in google search the site description was clearly a prompt.

When I viewed source, well. Let’s say….Chefs kiss of unreal mess.

Ok so this is a disaster right?

The business is crushing it and nothing here matters to anyone but someone like me when I booked my sons haircut.

I mean it’s working to the point that they only book through the website, if you call them.

Wild West again

This is a great example of what I'm coming to call "Good Enough is Good Enough". They could have paid more for a "quality" website, but that so called quality wouldn't make any difference to the customer so what does it matter? Is quality you cant see and don't notice even quality at all? If bad code runs is it bad code?

It was dirty cheap and it works. The accountants are running the show now and so long as AI Slop gets the job sufficiently done, thats more than fine with them.

100% this and that’s how is always been.

I don’t know why there’s nostalgia for some era of really good code it just never has existed.
