What is your approximate latitude and winter solar insolation? I think it's unlikely batteries in the near term meet that seasonal storage you mention, and therefore you might be better suited to overbuild solar and combine with geothermal for heat, with a combination of fossil gas and wood burning for backup heat. Check me on that, my assumptions might be inaccurate.

I can't watch the video right now, but I presume LFP, from the thumbnail. They're a lot less likely to catch on fire than NMC chemistries.
