Breakout List: Great startups to join

Hi HN, I made this list of startups to join. I asked people for help identifying the investors who have a good view on how different startups are doing. Then I asked some of those investors to pick their top bets inside their portfolio, and their top bets outside their portfolio.

This is based on the career philosophy around joining breakout startups.

If you have suggestions of how I could improve usability or suggestions for the future, let me know.

why did you pick the smallest font I've ever tried to read in my life

Interesting, fwiw HN comments are 9pt and comment headers are 8pt, whereas the descriptions on the breakout list site are 9.4pt (12.5px). Though I do agree it's small.

Fun project!

Instead of linking to Twitter (which people like me can’t use anymore), how about a bio of each person / why you picked them? And Andy’s links to a 2012 blog post for some reason?

Edit: initially didn’t see the text below with methodology so nvm on that point.

Thanks! Investor bios for the investor panel would be helpful, agreed. The why join a breakout startup section links to those people's career advice posts.
