I've tried Factorio, but I think the very thing that draws some people in is what drove me away. I already spend enough time managing systems and optimizing for load, etc. I don't need to spend my leisure time doing that, too.
That's a good point. I think that may be why I can handle Satisfactory more than Factorio - the first-person perspective makes it seem more "hands-on," as you put it.

Same here, I do systems stuff. But Factorio is different for me. it's visual and hands-on vs abstract diagrams, so it hits different.
