Is the phrase "master bedroom" harmful? A new psychology study says no

My favorite part of the article:

The only people who experienced slight increases in negative emotions when exposed to the words were those who scored high on moral elitism and a need for recognition. These specific personality traits reflect a persistent feeling of being a victim in social situations. For everyone else, the words had no measurable negative impact.

exist. A new study found that everyday people generally do not find these targeted words offensive, and reading them in a story does not negatively affect psychological well-being.

There’s only a certain kind of person who would find “master bedroom” offensive or harmful.

Yep, they are black. You can just say it vs hinting at it;)

When I was a young kid (born in 78, was probably 4th or 5th grade) I wrote a letter to the President. I can't remember who was in office at the time. But I got a letter back and they addressed me as "Master <Last Name>" which was a formal title at the time. I hadn't heard it before but I remember looking up what it meant and why they would use that term.
