hey HN, i've been making this Mac app called Die With Me. it lets you see how much claude / codex usage your friends have left. it's kind of like AIM buddy list, but for your AI tokens
and when your token allowance goes below 20%, a chatroom for everyone who is waiting for a reset
I made this because i wanted to bring a little bit of the old internet back! i remember those days where i'd casually check if friends are online and find excuses to say hi and poke them
I read your OP and looked at the site (including the "peek at the chat" in the top right). But until the (grand)parent comment, I thought the intent was for the nearly-out-of-tokens agents to talk to one another.
I don't have a better suggestion offhand on how to pitch it, but wanted to give the feedback.

Is it an IM client specifically for people out of Claude usage to talk to each other while waiting for reload?
yes exactly, i probably should have used this as the tagline honestly
you can friend others, or simple just see the global leader board
