Oxymoron? More like, irony, I guess.

It is indeed obnoxious that X behaves this way - but it also has to be said that a lot of modern discourse still happens on X.

I have no doubt his works will escape that garden, though. They always do.

I’m just glad he’s recovered from his travails and I hope to see him return to his former good works with gusto. The world needs it now more than ever.
