Show HN: Flyover Country – guide to the window seat with AR

Just released a ground-up rebuild of our long abandoned app Flyover Country. Its whole thing is to tell you fun things about what you're flying over. I'm particularly excited about the new augmented reality mode that overlays maps and points of interest on your camera view as you point your phone out the window. The 3d window view mode is also pretty neat!

It's free and works offline, just load your flight up beforehand.

This is a tough app to test for obvious reasons so any feedback from folks trying it out in the sky is suuuuper valuable. Please email me at shane@flyovercountry.app with any notes!

A quiet thread, for now.Start the conversation on HN ↗
