I'll share some of my thoughts:
It's been incredibly frustrating to have the quality of the subscriptions vary wildly. The model intelligence and quality is incredibly opaque, and it feels like they sometimes just switch the labels out.
I am quite worried that they're going to downgrade everything, and what we have now for 5x or 20x (which they don't even offer anymore lmao) is going to be moved to the new promax plan at 500 big ones.
I am not going to be able to afford anything close to that, and it's just frustrating to think about how unclear everything is.

haven't heard of it, enjoying my $10 OpenCode Go sub, dual OEM spark setup, and open weights. I also use Fireworks at work.
Every token vendor seems to be having issues, by proxy of hyperscaler capacity issues. Whether or not we get served up quants is opaque, and should be a finable offense for not delivering what you are charging for.
The dual spark is definitely nice when this happens, and even though I doubt I'll ever pay it back in terms of saved token costs, the freedom sure does feel great!
I suppose this is as good a plan as any.
I had to migrate away from Github Copilot in June, and I am not looking forward to doing the whole moving thing again.
OC Go is pretty generous with the quota for what you pay, hard to pass up access to a wide variety of open models for $10 / month
How much usage is it going to be? I definitely run out too fast on the $200 plan if I have more than one task going at a time. 500 is a bit pricey though…
I really doubt they would release that. In order to sustain, they would have to reduce the current plans/increase usage with good quality.
If it gives me 120x usage vs a plus plan, I'm totally onboard. That's a big "if" though.
If it were not rate limited that would be acceptable for enterprise use
Except: Enterprises are driven toward API pricing, with at most some bulk purchase discounts), because they need enterprise/security features (central control).. If an enterprise gets a 50% discount on API pricing, they are doing well (OpenAI publicly offers a 30% discount for at least $1000 in credit, so we can safely assume 30% as a starting point).

It’s not yet clear how all this will be implemented. But I have plenty of doubts.
I was using Sol of GPT. After Astra released, I feel Sol became like Luna. Most impotant is money all the time.
