Hello! I built this static tool to generate wavy backgrounds for posts, socials and landing pages and decided to share it for free for anyone looking for the same.
This tool uses three.js/canvas rather than svg: a full-screen quad and a fragment shader which makes for soft shadows, smoother blurs and glass effects. Hit the randomize button to get a good shape + colour combination, optionally tweak using the vector tool, save designs to local storage and export to image or video.
What's the point? I started out thinking this would be something "easy" and that I could build in about an hour but turns out it does take a bit more effort to make it "look good". You can use the backgrounds for content or an over-engineered colour picker or just chill with it in fullscreen mode.
