The native screen recorder on omarchy sucks for shooting quick product demos. I wanted something like cap on my mac. Built omacap so i could shoot quick demos to share with costumers.

OmaCap handles the full cycle. record a window, rough cut mistakes, quickly get a nice visual, couple smooth zoom ins to highlight key things, and then export to mp4 or a gif.

Everything runs locally, C++/Qt and even integrates with your Omarchy themes and you can pull your wallpaper as the background.
