Absolutely untrue. This is not supported in any data because an apples to apples comparison is not possible. For this to be true or a comparison to even be possible, this company would need to have their vehicles work in any place a regular car and human driver can be placed today, while their products are geo-fenced.

I love Waymo, but this is devoid of the basic questions that a journalist should be asking when verifying claims through a critical lens. Is the comparison provided to the journalist here possible to make? Why not mention that? Rehashing PR requires vetting, right?
