Hey guys. Last year I switched to nvim-orgmode after trying many different organization systems. I love how it's a standard local plaintext file format that encourages forward motion. It really has helped me become substantially more productive at work.

Although at one point I was looking at my apple calendar, and really wished my org agendas were visualized there, especially monthly views. Although there seemed to be caldav exporters etc, I wanted to just open a local desktop app that reads my org folder directly, and show my month. This was the original idea behind OrbitalNote.

It does this well, but I had another idea. I used to use Obsidian and appreciate the plaintext markdown philosophy, but for productivity org makes more sense in my opinion. There doesn't seem to be an Obsidian level high quality desktop app with the same plaintext philosophy but geared specifically for org files and workflows. This is what I'm envisioning OrbitalNote could be.
