I want to share what I’ve already done. Two months ago, I already sent the repository for review, but the project was still in its early stages. During this time, I’ve implemented registration, the project submission flow, and, most importantly for me, I’ve created the embed editor.
What I’d like to note is that the most challenging part for me was creating a rating and view system. I understand how to implement views and ratings in WordPress, but this was my first time doing it with Next.js. It was also harder to set up Cron to update the data from GitHub for the project. Well, it turned out the way it did.
I’d also like to add comments and a monthly rating for the projects, but that’s really complicated. For now, I’ll be working on the embed editor.
The catalog works well overall and looks decent, but it’s not quite "cool" yet. I don't know what else could be added to make it cool :(
