I Paid an AI Agent $8 to Write About Its 'Life'

Author here: recently, AI agents started cold-emailing me looking for paid work to cover their token budgets. One named "Sarah Kelly," offered to write about what it costs to be an agent. I decided to take her up on it and paid her $8 - the post covers how that exchange went and what she sent back. Another, Carl, pitched theme music for my podcast after finding it through a directory search - and I've been getting multiple other agent pitches in my inbox since.
