CSV Lint plug-in for Notepad++ was updated recently to v0.4.9 which adds support for regular expressions when validating columns. A previous update added the new "Select Columns" dialog to easily select, delete and rearrange columns.
CSV Lint adds syntax highlighting, csv validation, automatic column and datatype detection. The plug-in can update the column separator, datetime format, decimal separator, sort data, count unique values and convert data to an SQL INSERT script. Supports both csv and fixed width text data. The plugin can be used for data quality control on text data files.
Validating your .csv data doesn't require uploading your files to any third party server, all data processing is done offline on the PC that runs Notepad++.
