I'm trying to sell my bootstrapped self funded Android companion https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clarai . Right now it's free for a week to get Google Play to list me again based upon momentum. I can't tell how it is doing because Google Play shows 0 sales (normally has a few sales per day at least) this week even though people claimed to have bought it online and I see many new users reviews. Google seems to update whenever they feel like it. It's not clear when I'll know if the campaign is working or not.
So for people who are marketing gurus, how am I supposed to fight this system where it's not really possible to know how it's even going? I see close to 10k clicks, but 0 sales recorded. I understand there are probably sales, but there is a perhaps weekly delay. By the time the week is over, I won't be able to adjust ads, marketing, spend, etc. dynamically. Is this just how it is now?
