I have been banned from Gemini

I haven't used it other than doing some reverse engineering via KiloCode. https://sschueller.github.io/posts/making-a-label-printer-wo... to be exact.

I am so glad "open" alternatives exist that are almost as good and no state or company has control over. Living in a world where cooperation can decided who "wins" and who "looses" is a scary thing.

Google gives no explanation, no recourse. nothing.

Making printers dependent on ai should get you banned from the internet, you got off light.

7mo agoHN ↗

What in the world are you talking about? He used AI to remove the printer's artificial dependency on proprietary Windows and Android drivers.

Did they kill your whole Google account -- GMail, YouTube, and so forth -- or just your ability to use Gemini?

While I'm sure there is some obviously dangerous / unallowed use of fakes using Gemini going off radar, people hacking on some code get banned. That's a wild move from Gemini which makes me rethink my LLM choice, thanks for sharing!
