I've spent the last 4 years building Jade.email, an email service, and it's now better than any email service I've used. I'm incredibly proud of it and have a small group of paying customers already.
It's similar to SimpleLogin where you get unlimited emails for your domain on the fly. The key difference is that it's not a relay that just forwards to your existing email. The whole product is designed around this concept, and you get actual mailboxes that you can connect to with IMAP, have different rules for, view separately, etc.
The rules are really powerful as well, and can target different inboxes. I have any emails that have login links or verification codes notify me and self delete after 7 days. I have rules that automatically mark an email as read if it has any "list-unsubscribe" headers and then automatically try unsubscribing.
The best part though is you can connect any agent to it (except Gemini because Google is the worst) and it can not only do the normal email stuff, but it can also manage your rules too. So if I have a new inbox I'll ask Claude or ChatGPT to analyze that inbox and suggest rules or categorization/etc and it just works.
It's also an approved plugin on the ChatGPT plugin marketplace so I'm seeing AI first sign up traffic from people who have never even visited the website.

Apple is convenient since it’s built into your phone. Hard to beat that.
But then you’re locked into Apple, you still need to have another email service behind it (iCloud, Gmail), and you don’t choose the emails you sign up with.
I can look at all emails coming into “netflix@nostraycows.com” and know immediately that I gave that email to Netflix. But if someone emails “psychic-dinosaur57@icloud.com” it’s a bit tedious to figure out who that was even given out to.
I find it so tedious that I have a feature on the roadmap where we’ll let you label those iCloud privacy emails (if you relay them to a Jade email) so you can actually keep track of them.
